What makes this a refrigerator light bulb? Does it handle cold better?

Can they be used for other things? I don't know, maybe for wax melters since they seem small? Would it get hot enough? It does say "a wide range of uses".

I doubt it. LEDs output only a fraction of that heat that a regulator incandescent bulb would, which is the benefit. Same amount of lumens for a quarter of the wattage

I forgot, just look it up, all I know is that when my fridge bulbs went out I replaced them with regular LED bulbs and they are still going strong
Edit: did the same with garage door opener that required stronger filaments. I think I did CFL first then LED when the CFL did not last
