I love all the threadcrappers that turn into chefs when they see the chance to feel superior.

Ordered two of these outside my s&s window thinking at least if they're broken it's not on an entire order. Was pleasantly surprised to see jars wrapped in bubble wrap until a month later when I realized the wrap on one jar was actually under the lid so air seal broken and garbage. The one jar that was useable kinda tasted like Taco Bell nacho sauce good as a dip but can never imagine using this in a meal to me the taste in bulk would be too overwhelming.

Yes! i've tried the cheddar cheese and it was awful. it didnt taste cheesy at all. absolutely nothing like mac and cheese or velveeta or anything similar. i think in a blind taste test you might not even know it was a cheese sauce its so bland.
ive eaten my fair share of low quality sketchy ingredient trash food and this is a low even for me. i would not recommend at 5 cents let alone $2 a jar.

I haven't and for good reason. One look at the ingredients and it's a no go for me. This falls into the same category as canned cream soups for me, I will never go near them (so many YT video "cooks" use cans of creamed soup in their concoctions, results in an immediate block in my feed). I encourage anyone thinking about this stuff to instead learn to make a mornay sauce for your Mac and cheese. It's really very easy. And here is the easiest homemade Mac and cheese you can make. https://youtu.be/yWaYdGQqxQU?si=y-hU2HOqaeuAYLC8
Hey guys. did you know that if you spend 150 dollars on ingredients, 530 dollars on kitchen equipment, and 4 hours cooking you can make a burger that tastes better than a Big Mac?

Then everyone in the room appalused.

Just saw this at Dollar Tree for $1.25. Picked one up to avoid having it included with my shipment that includes a kettle bell and a bowling ball. ;-)

Just noticed they also have a "Cheesy Bacon" version for the same price!
EVERYTHING is better with BACON! yummy
(And it appears to be real bacon according to the ingredients.)

Pretty sure this is the stuff we kept in the fridge and pantry for years while my girls grew up. Single Dad Here. You learn to pick your battles, and to get them to eat broccoli, a little (imitation) cheese sauce on top gets them to eat it right away. And pretty soon, they grew out of the "need" for the cheese sauce. So YEAH, it was worth it. At any price. And now, it's on sale. Smilie

I use the ragu version on fries for a cheesey fry kind of thing. Health food? No. Good as a treat yes. Kinda of like concession stand nacho cheese only cheddar. Also good on broccoli if you want to unhealthify lol it

Nasty stuff. But hey, sometimes we all need a break from cooking. Buy it but use sparingly. No judgment.

Nobody is trying to feel superior. It's not a good product. Don't be insulted rather use what is being said to learn something, you just might be surprised.

Good food and quality ingredients is not for everyone. If you are happy with cheap processed food, great. Just save up a lot of $$$$ for your future healthcare. One way or another you will spend the money.

Threadcrapper turned chefs felt superior about Mac and Cheese?!?!?! Then everyone in the room appalused. Threadcrapper turned chefs head held up high. Felt like he has dominated the thread. Turned around. Walked slowed back to the basement. And not seen again until the next jar sauce deal emerge.

No doubt there will be plenty of cheap, unhealthy and poor-quality sauces available to get very fat on. Keeps the cardio guys very busy. It has worked for McDonalds. There was an infographic I saw a few years ago that showed the amount of business the cardio guys and hospitals make from people who regulary eat fast food/highly processed food. It was staggering. So, by all means keep eating it.
