I love all the threadcrappers that turn into chefs when they see the chance to feel superior.

Ordered two of these outside my s&s window thinking at least if they're broken it's not on an entire order. Was pleasantly surprised to see jars wrapped in bubble wrap until a month later when I realized the wrap on one jar was actually under the lid so air seal broken and garbage. The one jar that was useable kinda tasted like Taco Bell nacho sauce good as a dip but can never imagine using this in a meal to me the taste in bulk would be too overwhelming.

I haven't and for good reason. One look at the ingredients and it's a no go for me. This falls into the same category as canned cream soups for me, I will never go near them (so many YT video "cooks" use cans of creamed soup in their concoctions, results in an immediate block in my feed). I encourage anyone thinking about this stuff to instead learn to make a mornay sauce for your Mac and cheese. It's really very easy. And here is the easiest homemade Mac and cheese you can make. https://youtu.be/yWaYdGQqxQU?si=y-hU2HOqaeuAYLC8

I was going to suggest "3 ingredient mac n cheese" if your link wasn't for it. So simple, cheese and evaporated milk. Literally no reason to get a jar of this stuff.

Yes! i've tried the cheddar cheese and it was awful. it didnt taste cheesy at all. absolutely nothing like mac and cheese or velveeta or anything similar. i think in a blind taste test you might not even know it was a cheese sauce its so bland.
ive eaten my fair share of low quality sketchy ingredient trash food and this is a low even for me. i would not recommend at 5 cents let alone $2 a jar.

Just saw this on reddit yesterday, apparently it's really good topped on broccoli.

Asked rufus about quantity.
----
I'm looking to use this as a side with broccoli, while having chicken tenderloins for the main thing. Is this enough for 7 people to enjoy as a side or do I need to get 2 cans?

For 7 people as a side dish, one 14.5 oz jar of Prego Creamy Cheddar Cheese Sauce would likely be on the light side.
As a side with broccoli alongside chicken tenderloins, you'd probably want about 2-3 tablespoons per person, which would require roughly 14-21 tablespoons total. Since this jar contains about 29 tablespoons, one jar could work but portions would be modest.
For a more generous serving that ensures everyone gets plenty of that creamy cheddar goodness with their broccoli, I'd recommend getting 2 jars. This gives you flexibility to serve heartier portions and have some left over.

Wonder what it would be like to have EVERYTHING in your Amazon order covered in cheese sauce? If so, add this to your S&S order!

"I know you are asking opinions from those who have tried or used this budget, pre-made, and processed food product, but here is a recipe for a healthier, homemade product that will cost 3x as much in price and 10x more in time spent. I have not tried said product, but my suggestion is gospel."
