Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

What if you use a port-in number while ordering and not activate the service in Metro after phone is delivered?
I see this in the page "Note: Your number won't be transferred over until after your new device is activated"
Does it mean, the phone is activated before shipping?

anyone know why when I check my number to verify if the port in is eligible, the price changes to 200?
when I put a tmobile MVNO number, the price is $200. When I put a Verizon MVNO number, it's $0.

Tmo owns Metro so not eligible. Go with a Verizon or Att MVNO.

Phone will auto activate after about 2 weeks even if you don't activate it.

So can I get the phone for 55 and no plan? I just need the phone for kids to watch YouTube and games.
You have to buy a plan in order to make the phone free. No one will simply hand you a free phone.

What I meant is after paying for the first month can I cancel the plane and are there any penalty fees?
