Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

You must be with them for 1 year (365 days)
No you just pay for 1 month and then put it in a drawer or use it as a WiFi device.

So can I get the phone for 55 and no plan? I just need the phone for kids to watch YouTube and games.
There are much better phone deals on SD than this for just YouTube and games. iPhone 13 has a pretty garbage screen and processor. Look at the Moto G Stylus 2025 also via Metro.

1. You probably made too many Metro orders to the shipping address you entered, or
2. You maxed out the number of lines on your account

Since google voice and visible won't work anymore, what's the cheapest way to port in for metro nowadays?
You can purchase a number from Verizon/Att to port over to metro. I've done this in the past and it works 100%. This provider sells each number for $15 I think. 100% recommended.

Just so I understand, you unlocked the Google voice number (for like $3) and ported successfully into Metro?
No, I haven't but I checked if my GV number will show $0 for the phone and it did

My Google voice shows as eligible for porting on the Metro site. Does that mean GV works or am I missing something?

it should have unlocked after 6 months. Check in settings. iPhones auto unlock and the last two androids I got from Total and ST auto unlocked.
Nope, at that point it was 1 year. Mine is Feb 22, btw.
