Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

no waiting period, I just ordered it with creating a new GV and immediately ported out. It took 30ish seconds

So I unlocked GV number. Got through all process of ordering. I tried to use virtual card by capital one. Placed the order and on the got massage that it did not go through. I see charge and credit for $55 on my card. I just have bad feeling about using my everyday card and getting charged for some extra crap after canceling monthly plan.

might be the credit card - I have ordered many times before with regular CC and no problems of stop monthly autopay. This time I didn't pay attention and my browser created a virtual card for payment, but the order went through

iPhone 16e vs iPhone 13 for the same price??

I think the only advantage of iPhone 13 is the camera, processorwise 16e is still a win.

FYI - RSIM works fine with the iPhone 13. Been using my Metro with RSIM on other carriers for a full year now, it theoretically unlocks in 10 days.

Iphone 14 or later this won't work because they're all eSIM.

I have both. Never use magsafe but you can just get a case with magsafe if you want it. The 16e is much faster has twice the ram (8gb) and has better battery life ( best of any iPhone I've owned) . Just depends if you want to spend an extra hundred.

I use phone number 1 for port-in when placing an order. Can I use another phone number for port-in when I receive this phone and actually port in?
