Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

I am new at this. How do I port in a Google Voice number? It is asking for the account number and PIN. How do I find that?

Account # is the 10 digit phone number and PIN is whatever you set as voicemail PIN

Port your Google Voice number out to another carrier

To port your number out of Google Voice, first you need to unlock the number. Then, let your carrier know you want to port a number to their service. Work with them until the porting process is complete.
When you unlock your Google Voice number, it costs $3 USD. But if your number was originally ported in from another carrier, there's no charge.
  1. On your computer, open Google Voice.
  2. At the top right, click Settings

  3. Go to the "Account" section.
  4. Under the Google Voice number you wish to port out, click Unlock.
  5. Complete the payment with your Google Account.
  6. Ask your carrier to port your number to their service.
  7. If successful, at the bottom left, it displays "Number unlocked."

Right pay $3 vs $5 then be stuck playing the CSR lottery to get the GV port to actually go through at activation.

Not everyone values their time at less than $2/hour.

Glad you were offended by being called out for your misinformation.
Listen, noob, I'm sorry about your bad childhood but GV worked fine for me and others reporting here in about 2 mins. Second, we're not here for your spam.

Tell me where the Tmobile MVNO touched you funny on this doll. Also, welcome to my block list.

And you wonder why you have a rep of 14 on SD. Search bar will not beat real world experience.

Right, and your 3 questions had all been answered in detail by experienced users in this thread. If people like you did not spam repeat questions more folks would be inclined to actually read the comments to find their questions have been answered instead of being lazy/selfish expecting to be spoon fed.

I haven't updated it because I don't want to kill the RSIM, just in case. I did just order this one, though, so next week I can try it and see, if it's already updated. If not, I'll try it in the locked one since it'll only be a few days after it unlocks anyways.

Tell us more how RSIM 'works reliably' with iPhone 13. When it barely half works on T-mobile/T-mobile MVNOs, does not work on Verizon, does not work on ATT, does not work on DISH. And the only way to even get stable signal that's not causing constant battery drain is to shell out more $ on a QPE eSIM that's then putting your entire phones security at risk. Just another skid 'know it all' spewing misinfo.
