Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

it was 105$ yesterday, so I would pick 16e for 155$+tax yesterday. Today it dropped to 55$, no tax, I will pick 13.

iphone 16e is $99, and you only get a $100 rebate if you pay for 3 months.

iPhone 16e vs iPhone 13 for the same price??

I think the only advantage of iPhone 13 is the camera, processorwise 16e is still a win.

My concern with 16e is that since it is a "budget" line, it MAY not be part of trade in offers from carriers like tmobile, similar to how SE2 has not been part of the trade in offers but iPhone 12 still is.

Just to save a few pennies...
What a deal.
Some people../rolleyes
1. It can be used as a high quality mini tablet. I personally use it for online games. iPhone works better than Android for my games
2. It can be traded in for a newer better phone
3. It can be used as a Metro phone if you need a phone line at some point
4. It unlocks next year, meanwhile it costs merely $55

And, a year later you can give it to elder parents, kids - phone users that don't need latest and greatest and certainly don't need a thousand $ phone to get it lost.

As I predicted, careers finally came to the conclusion that when locking their hardware for a year they'll have to offer it for free. Most likely will see this kind of deal on iphone 15 and 16e very soon, probably from the other MVNOs that require continuous active paid service to unlock. Upcoming Black Friday I won't be surprised to see iPhone 16 for $0 from the MVNOs.

This time around, are people able to order more than one phone to an account at the same time (before the first phone comes in and you activate it)?

it should have unlocked after 6 months. Check in settings. iPhones auto unlock and the last two androids I got from Total and ST auto unlocked.
Guess you hadn't gotten the memo when T-Mobile changed their policy to extend their lock period from 6-months to 1-year.

Will a locked phone like this work internationally? As a phone I can put local Sim / eSims into?
A locked phone like that will have to remain on the Metro network for a whole year so you wouldn't be able to use it internationally until that period passes over.

Isn't Helium Mobile on the T-Mobile network? You need to port in from some other carrier other than T-Mobile.
