Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

I created a new Google Voice account for this and future deals but GV won't give me a number. Apparently they have a once per actual phone number limit I had no idea existed. So want a replacement for my iphone 13 mini that I broke a couple of months ago.

Not for iPhone unfortunately. Some Android phones may work, but there's no guarantee. If your plan is Go5G+ or higher, you can get $830 (or $800 if you do it via Apple Store) trade-in credit. Login to your T-Mobile account for your eligibility.

FYI, I have traded a few for giftcards. Very easy in store except the most recent one I bought from Metro in December had a problem where the system would not allow the trade in. Fortunately I was also trading in and older metro iphone 13 that was still locked to metro and the "Genius" was able to overide the one that wouldn't work and give me gift cards for both.
Took a bit of time but worked in the end.

Data Point: Got new GV new number today. Created Pin code in GV for port transfer. Check the city from GV where your areacode is, so you can get the zipcode to enter when porting in Metro website. Was able to get an IP13@metropcs today.

In this situation, your order is stuck with port-in hold in Metro system on your number so you need to call their portability team (800-518-7519) to release the port-in hold, then try again after 24 hours.
