Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

I don't understand why this became a front‑page deal. This phone was a good deal last year, but this year it's not as appealing — it won't even be unlockable until next year, and by then it'll already be outdated compared to the rest of the market.
I did get two iphone 13s from metro and visible one year ago. It was good deal to me but now hesitate to jump in
It's cheaper this year

Because I can get a phone for $55 that I can then trade in for $600+.
Where can I trade in for $600?

Can't go through the transfer number step. Account number and phone numbers are the same, pin is my voicemail and the number is unlocked. Paid $3 to make sure. Any ideas why?

Like TMobile. In some plans, the trade-in value is 800. But the contract for new phone will be 24 months.

For people who have gotten new accounts with Metro over the years - I think I last ordered an iPhone 13 around April of last year, and I also got two last February...

I entered the same address and I'm sure a card I have used before, and I have a Visible number actually that I can transfer... and I got an error at the point of it trying to initiate a port. It told me to call in.

Any tips? Do I need to use a card I haven't used before? I live in an apartment building so I can't just put some random unit number as some people do as a workaround.

And I think I probably need to wait 24 hours...anyone with any success waiting less than 24 hours?

Explain it like I'm 5. I can just order a bunch of these for $55 each and take them right to the Apple store and trade in? Buying and trading in 6 of these would cost about $330 but would get me a little over $1k in Apple cash towards a new device??? Essentially a 70% discount???

The website clearly states it's limited to 4 devices on one plan. Also the second (and presumably third and fourth) lines are $30 on the plan, not $55. And you have to activate each phone ordered before you can order another.

1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy.

I didn't see this? Did I so something wrong, I went straight to the payment page
