Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

just set up lyca account, im not quite sure where to find my lyca account number/pin ...

desktop portal or phone app? (android)

and then where do i find it exactly?

EDIT: found it. you have to use the desktop portal, on the manage account [lycamobile.us] page. there's a section "Account & Pin number", click the "View" button and it sends a OTP to your number
Let us know if Metro approves a purchase.

Same here, 1 for iphone 13, 1 for tablet, got the message I can't add another line. Do we need to wait?
I purchased the phone about 2 weeks ago, do you think I need to wait for 30 days to add a new line?

I got my first phone by porting a GV #. The phone works, but Google Voice still shows that ported number. I want a new GV #. How long for Google to wipe it out, so I can get a new GV #?
Yes, get a new email and gv#. I have like 20 emails. Lol

I hope not. For me, the whole point of getting a second line is that it will be discounted to 30 instead of 55. If you wait 30 days, your first line would be expired.

Your port IS NOT COMPLETE, do not delete your google number. You will notice that you can make calls but not receive calls and you google number is still listed in your google account and if you call your GV it will ring in GV. Your port is in que- you need to call them and ask for the porting dept and ask them to complete the port. You will receive a text from meto and email from GV when your port is complete. Once the port has been completed your will need to reboot your device again to receive calls and finalize the port. Once the port is complete the number will disappear for GV (takes about 1-5 minutes) and you can request another one.

You can get up to 3 per account.
Technically you should be able to buy a total of 4. But that depends if you have been a Metro customer before or not. "New" customers tend to have better luck than "returning" customers.
Metro has implemented many "anti-fraud" measures, but nobody knows for sure what they are! Some tricks used to work but not anymore.
I was actually surprised that my first order went though smoothly (using a different email address but everything else was used once about two years ago). I got the same message on my second attempt, but the trick of using the first device to place the order worked.
After activating the second order, I tried to order a Samsung watch but failed 5 or 6 times with all possible "hacks" I could think of.

Others have said that it will auto active after I think 2 weeks if this is true then no in one year after it auto activates it will be unlocked. If this is not correct and you never activate it will not unlock 1 year if that matters to you.

Don't you need a different real phone number for each email? How'd you do this?

This is a crazy idea. But does anyone know is possible at all to somehow use this to "ladder" up to like a ~free 16e metro deal doing some kind of trade in credit strategy? The other metro deal for 16e is $155 out of pocket. $100 for phone but you get $100 gift card back, 3 months minimum mandatory service. So the strategy would be like this

1) get this iPhone 13 for $55 porting google voice burner number

2) do the 16e porting deal ANOTHER burner google voice number but you trade in this iPhone 13 for hopefully $100-150 credit which can be used to pay towards the 16e / 3 mandatory monthly plan premiums.

Anyone have any idea is this possible at all?

I continue to get a blank page on 3 different browsers on the last (payment details) step. This is AFTER they got my acct. # and port-out PIN, so, they reserved the number for the transfer, but could not present me a page to pay for the plan. So, it's unpaid, the number is locked in their port-in system and cannot be ported in again, I cannot access the account (as it hasn't been created due to the number not assigned). What a joke is all this moronic Metro experience! Just incredible!

Not sure what is happening and confused.

- I placed my 2nd order/line for a i13 at Metro on 2/15, porting in a number from Lyca.
- Got a shipping notification email on 2/16. Soon after I activated on Metro website & received activation confirmation email from Metro on the same day (2/16).
- i13 was delivered earlier today. Turned on i13, went thru the set-up and got confirmation on the i13 that it is activated.
- However, the phone number is still active on Lyca (I have the Lyca eSIM on my other spare phone). I could make calls and send texts.
- I am also able to make calls and send texts from the i13.
- On the i13, tried calling the same number I ported into Metro (from Lyca) and the phone with the Lyca eSIM rings
- On the phone with Lyca eSIM, tried calling the same number I ported out (to Metro) and it goes to voice mail

Thoughts?

Call metro CS and tell them your port is stuck (800) 518-7519. Takes a minute and they'll have you power cycle the phone

So I received the phone activated it with GV port in, the outgoing phone calls are working but incoming doesnt work. The chat person says the port in can take some time, In the mean time I deleted the GV number. Is this a problem or since the hone is already activated the 1 year clock already started and I can deactivate the line if I wanted to send this to someone? or trade in with apple or keep it in drawer for about a year. Any of those 3 options should work correct?

or this GV port in not complete for some reason is going to cause problems?
