Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

earlier, I was going through the activation link sent/provided by Metro through email. The number has yet not been ported, which I assume may take some time. The number is still showing in GV, and my phone shows: SOS, but the Metro website says: Activated.

Yes, I got the 16e. If you get the phone using add a line assuming your port is complete, you get discount on monthly plan. Same requirements as the iPhone 13.

I am trying to add a new line (iPhone 13) on an existing Metro account but consistently fail to process the order. My port-in information goes through, but the final step (place order) does not go through (get the dreaded, call customer service/visit store). I have read a few earlier comments that suggest several tricks which I tried... chrome browser incognito mode (either on a PC or Phone with WiFi off), No VPN, different credit cards, ..
If anyone has successfully placed an order for additional lines, would like to hear what worked for you.. Thank you.

Tried with lyca mobile phone number and metro didn't process the order on the final step, so now that number isn't allowed and I'm locked out of trying to log into the metro account as well as the lyca account because it texts you a pin to that lyca phone number so I can't even log into cancel auto pay.

Hey I have posted what I know, you will need to read through the tread there is a lot of good information and repeating it is annoying. As for me I am out this madness I ordered one for my drone flight controller. It shipped and I successfully activated it. Then I got greedy and tried for a tablet and I got the old call us message. Those calls to Metro I am convinced took 10 years off my life. But my postings were a reflection of what I learned through those conversations and I hope they helped someone. For me I'm out I got what I needed, the phone, and banging my head into a concreate wall would be less painful than chasing this deal "something I really don't need and probably wouldn't use" so I am out but good luck to everyone. See you all next year around the same time as that's when these deals have droped in the past few years.

I just ordered 3 with separate emails, the 2nd and 3rd orders messed up online so I called and it took me about 10 minutes each time to have the cs rep order them and make sure everything was good to go. Idk why everyone is dreading calling them but my experience was very pleasant. I got 3 phones total. Btw I used number barn to get the numbers to port, they were $5 per number.
