Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

Tried again this morning porting in two different numbers from Tracfone. Both failed again. I am giving up now.

So I canceled the first phone I received using this deal. That disables my online login, so I thought ok I will open a new account instead of adding a line but it wouldnt let me do so, the price is not the $55. I then tried different browser in P2 name, it would let me go through all the steps but in the end says for your security call their 800 number. Not sure if my Lyco mobile number is the one because of which I am getting problem in P1 and now P2 name. The first number transfer I did was a GV number. unless they go by the shipping/house adress.

Never combine Tracfone brands with Metro! Tracfone brands will deactivate your service whenever there's a port-in request and you won't get it back unless you pay and reactivate it if port-in fails.

calling may solve the order issue, but visiting a store is guaranteed purchase but you have to dodge their sale tactics

I called customer care to add my 3rd line as their website is not allowing to add 3rd line online. They were asking me for $25 processing fee. Did anyone experience the same?

Might be a silly question again. If I port it out before the first service month ends, I guess it violates the rule of being active for one month and then the iphone won't be unlocked in a year?
The policy doesn't require "being active for one month"

Confirmed.. this go with Total Wireless as well. I always have problem porting from Total Wireless to Metro .. and every time the port failed, I have to call TW to get the number back and it has a fee ..

I dont know why these people have so many hard fraud block when according to their own policies you can buy 3-4 phones per account and at the 2nd phone buy they are throwing so many fits like there is not going to be sun rise tommorrow.

I just activated using GV number and it got successfully ported to Metro. I have not setup auto pay and expecting it should be good enough to get the service lapsed after first month.

In store purchase requires $25 activation fee which is waived online if I am not wrong even if you dodge their solicited sales.

totally agree. They even said themselves the deals can be applied to up to 4 lines.

"Here's how it works: Sales tax applies. You'll need email & ID (to verify your name & address) to sign up. Heads up—if want to move to a less expensive rate plan during the next 6 months after getting this deal, you'll need to pay $50 to change plans. Qualifying port-in required. An activation charge of $25 may apply in-store. You can get deals on up to 4 lines. This is a limited-time offer and, like everything else in this crazy world, is subject to change."

I was trying to order my second 13, but unable to pass through the payment screen. Tried a few hours later, now the website said I am not eligible to add any more new line.
Your previous attempt must be on-hold, call their portability team to remove the hold. You maybe able to see that hold line in your metro account.

We need a data set, folks who have been attempting to do this for the 2nd and 3rd phone, are you trying the GV number or Lyca? If we know all the failed attempts are from Lyca then we know it could be the company as this seems to be some foreign phone provider. when I did my 1st phone successfully I used GV number.

I don't think it is about port-ins. I tried to place the samsung tablet order without any port-ins, still same issue.
