Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious personโ€ฆpray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

Anyone successfully add a third line and a third free iPhone 13? Porting seems to work, but last step, always an error. Called, and rep tried and same issue. Confirmed with port department that all porting info good to go. Not previously on metro and first time ordering. Third line just not going through. Any feedback from anyone?
Third? I can't even get a second one without getting this error.

I just ordered 3 with separate emails, the 2nd and 3rd orders messed up online so I called and it took me about 10 minutes each time to have the cs rep order them and make sure everything was good to go. Idk why everyone is dreading calling them but my experience was very pleasant. I got 3 phones total. Btw I used number barn to get the numbers to port, they were $5 per number.
So i guess with different emails, you are paying $55 each line instead of $30 additional second line?

Anyone ordering 2nd or 3rd device using GV successful the last day or two? I think they may have put in a fix, been trying everything I can think of but number still getting shut out.
I have no luck trying to get a third line (tablet) for the last few days.
I'm thinking of porting out the second line, effectively make my account to being back to 1 main line. Does anyone know if this would allow me to order the third device?

What benefits do you hope to get by doing that? You won't get any refund for unused service days. Keep the line alive for the 1st month you already paid for and you might be able to order additional phones or tablets, watches. Autopay is off by default. The account will be cancelled automatically after 30 days if you don't pay for the 2nd month.
Have not being about to order a third device. Would it be possible to cancel a line to make it look like There is only one line, so that I can order another device?

I think this is the end of the road for me and metro. After doing this deal for probably 5+ years, I've tried multiple numbers, credit cards, names, and addresses, used different browsers and a VPN and still can't get the order to go through. On to Cricket I suppose!
I have a similar scenario. Used different address to which I had never used before. Have you been able to order even one phone? My first order itself didn't go through.

Was trying to this deal for my first iphone 13. I ported out my Tracfone esim from my ST GStylus25 thats about to unlock next weak. I used a privacy cc, new email and name, but same address (that I used to get some moto razr24 phones back in Oct-Nov). But after check out it said contact Metro support. I did get a text saying my number is porting out and now my line shows up inactive on Tracfone website.

Yep. One never knows when/if ST/TW/TF will clean up their system and actually remove the zombie line. I have one zombie line from ST and one from TF. For now, I keep one phone in my car to use its Data while away from WiFi. I use the other one at home to make long calls to avoid using up minutes of my main TF line.
Dang thats crazy, I think my Tracfone eSIM turned to a zombie line, but will report later in a week or 2 when my plan ends. Also, since have a zombie line from ST can you put the simcard in any phone and the line still works? Is the data unlimited on your ST? I might have to try my other Tracfone esim number before plan ends next week Wink

I already told you that, don't need the apple rep guy. It is so obvious. The s25 FE has so much more potential for $100 and then use it for full trade in value against the newest samsung by end of month. The iphone 13 is so old that there won't he any more physical sims at some point and can't even use it๐Ÿ˜‚
Why do you keep posting incorrect info?

Maybe everyone knows this but me.
Can the Metro iPhone 16e or 13 be used on T-Mobile or need it unlocked.
What are you guys going to do with the phone if this is not your primary?
I don't know first hand but when others ask this the answer is always definitely "no."

It seems the "loophole" of being able to use Metro-locked phones either on T-Mobile or T-Mobile MVNOs has mostly been closed. The last time I saw claims of a phone that still did this was last year I believe, and it specifically was a Motorola razr.

On phones like iPhone 13 with a SIM slot (that can use a SIM card as opposed to newer phones with eSIM only), some people claim to have success using a "device" called RSIM, which is a little "wrapper" that folds around the SIM card (and apparently still squeezes into the slot without damaging it) and "tricks" the phone into thinking some other service's SIM card is actually a Metro SIM card, allowing functionality. But I have no idea how or if they work and if there are caveats.

I bought a ST A15 in Nov 2024 with one month of service, and activated it in mid-November 2024. Tried to port to Metro in early Dec 2024 for a deal but the port failed. ST "deactived" the line but it still could make/receive calls/texts and used Data. After the A15 was unlocked in Jan 2025, I put the ST SIM card into an unlocked phone, so I could sell the A15. As of today 2/27/26, over a year later, that line still works for calls/texts/Data. When texting BALANCE or USAGE to 611611, it comes back saying "It appears your service is inactive....". So I have no ideas how much Data was used or is left.
If your TF phone still can make/receive calls/texts today, try texting BALANCE to 611611 from that phone. If it comes back saying your phone is inactive, then your phone has become a zombie.
Since your phone has a TF eSIM, I think you'll have to keep that eSIM in that phone to keep using its service because you can't transfer that eSIM to another eSIM or pSIM. If you try to do a transfer, TF will say that phone number not active or can't be found in their system.

Managed to buy 1 iPhone 13 and 1 Galaxy Watch 7... Couldn't get a Galaxy A9+ tablet or another phone - seems to be stuck at contact them to complete purchase or whatever that message was.

On a side note... how does one transfer the phone plan to another phone? It doesn't seem to be accepting my Pixel 10 IMEI #s when using the change device under my account.

Anyone know of any other port-in deals? Now that it seems the door is shut on getting 2nd or 3rd lines I have an unlocked GV number to use. I saw the Cricket offer but that doesn't sound like a good deal. Any others?
