Looking T the higher items and thinking wow, even 30% off price is too high. FR 1500 is not a bad trem...but on a 2k American model? Cmon man.

Also doesn't have stainless steel frets. But they are trying to make a USA model for $2k and not undercut their parent company (Fender).

Seems like several of the lower end models are a decent deal for any beginners looking for a shredder. I really want one of the minions for a couch noodler, but I can't tell if it will be too awkward of a size.

It's very compact. I want to know how the packaging is done and whether it can be given to children as a gift.

Dropping the "Made in USA" from the headstock decal is a huge miss on Jacksons part - these are not discernable from an indonesian model from a foot away. Totally missing the point.

They're also calling it "built in USA" and it's on a sticker. Really makes you think where these are actually being made vs. assembled.

Just get over "made in USA". It's a marketing trick. It's been shown time and time again the quality of the instrument is not dictated by what country it's made in.

Be patient. Guitar prices are going to plummet over the next 6-12 months.

Why do you say this? I'm always looking for a good deal on a new guitar and willing to wait. Curious

"Crafted" in China is diabolical.
