I have a Logitech vertical mouse I got for my work PC and it's been great in reducing wrist strain!

agreed this wheel is dumb but I have been using this mouse for years and honestly it has been fine maybe even good. My wrist hurts like crazy using a non-vertical one and the acer has been cheap and reliable. Even has a left handed version which I used when I had surgery

I got one. But i have a gun mouse with recoil settings for full auto or semi-automatic. It helps me shoot deals.
