The 4060s at that price are already gone.

LOL...I don't think you understand how eBay works. Those sensationalized cases are a 1 in a million type thing, and sadly eBay (these days) will 95% of the time side with the buyer even if the buyer is blatantly lying.

Personally, I'd bet these GPU's are brand new, but pulled out of prebuilt gaming PC's, then those PC's are sold using the CPU's integrated graphics.

what is the rational for buying a refurbished old generation card when you can buy a current gen rx 9060 8gb that goes on sale regularly for $250? How is this a hot deal?

It is the general belief that the increasing costs of components means those $250 deals on the RTX 5060 and RX 9060 XT are not coming back, at least in the near future.

You should be paying attention to tech prices and news. You're not going to see a 9060xt for $250 again this year unless it's a unicorn deal available for 2 minutes.

Ummm. Just pay attention to the DRAM shortage that's plaguing the industry. Everything that has a memory chip has just seen a 300% price in crease and GPUs are no exception. That includes your smart phone. Smart tv. Your car. Anything that has a memory chip, all the companies are basically ditching the consumer market and going all in on ai

I just bought an rtx 3060 ti to upgrade my rtx 3050 8gb from zotacs refurbished site. It was 230 and IMO it's better than the 4060 mainly because there's more cuda cores which was mainly all I wanted. There was a rtx 3070 model for 15$ more but it was the blower style and I just didn't want anything to run hot or noisy

3060ti is a great card but if you play games that can take advantage of frame generation then this card would be a better option since they're both 8GB vram cards.
