They are selling them for $15 on the TikTok shop, so I finally purchased one. $40 I would never buy at. $30 is a bit high as well. $15 feels like a sweet spot.
The screen is a gimmick. It has a little animation when you first plug in a device showing the rate it is being charged off. After a minute or so, the screen shuts off.
The only real advantage of this plug I'd say is it does seem to have a much stronger foldable hinge. My older Anker chargers wouldn't necessarily die, but the foldable prongs would no longer stay in place. Making it difficult to plug it into the wall. The foldable prong on this unit also has multiple sides it can rotate to, which could be useful depending on the outlet you're plugging into.
Can we stop posting these stupid Anker chargers? It's not a sale at all, their real price is $30. Nobody would pay full price for this. Seems like Anker is paying for these posts on slickdeals.

Yeah, to me $20 or less is the price point that I might consider buying one. Do I know it's mostly a gimmick, sure for a small plug to put in my to go bag, or keep handy in the car, I can see some benefits.
