Just a heads up for anyone who might match my profile. That said, the game is so cheap that it's worth buying on sale even if you're hesitant. $7 is a good price for even a couple hours of entertainment, and it's going to an indie developer.

buying this for long haul flights as the reviews say you don't need wifi to play. excellent game.

I got hooked on this on PC via Game Pass. My teen liked it so much, she asked for it as a gift for Xmas on Steam. I didn't bat an eyelash and bought it for her so she'd be able to play once our Game Pass sub is up. It's that damn good.
At this price I am absolutely going to buy this so I can enjoy it on my Logitech G Cloud or tablet while I'm on the go.
TLDR; So Balatro is basically crack.
