Eeeeeexcellent for super basic.
Be aware: No soft close. Wood can swell if a break in the coating happens.

Better to get plastic toilet seats. I learned that the hard way when I replaced all mine with wood seats, and then a maid cleaned the toilets with a heavy duty bleach product and they all got ruined. Had to then replace them all again with plastic seats.

Wood seats have to be cleaned with gentle cleaners like hand soap. But sometimes you need to go heavy duty, which will then destroy the painted finish on wood seat.

Wood toilet seats are a bad idea. Get a quality high-density plastic one; they have the solid feel of wood without the issues with warping, color fading, chipping/scratching, etc.
