No real "griller " would dare say pellet is better
I cater briskets, beef & pork ribs, pulled pork, chicken using 4 Camp Chef Woodwind Pros and 3 Weber Smokefire pellet smokers. As long as you know what you are doing, my customers can't tell the difference between products smoked in an offset or pellet grill. I don't have the time to stay tied up to my old offsets tending fireboxes.

My experience was actually opposite of OP I was responding to . I fell for the Pallet hype myself but went back to my Weber and charcoal offset.
Yes , the "set and forget " is absolutely an appeal, but no one in my family liked the taste , some of them even compared it to the liquid smoke flavor enhancers
So yeah , if relaxing while you smoke is your thing ..Def pallet
It's a paper thin grill. Don't waste your money.
