I have a similar model (OS-Hiro LT) that i absolutely love, so i'm sure this is a great chair. The features that I couldn't go without are 3D(this gives you control over how deep into your back the rollers protrude) and SL track (SL means it massages your butt, too). 12 automatic programs is really nice. Mine only has 8 and i like them all, and the automatic programs can move the rollers in creative ways that you cannot do manually. The space saving design on mine is great because it doesn't get closer to the wall when it reclines, but this one looks like it moves 4 inches. Shouldn't be an issue unless you're putting it in a very narrow room. Before i bought mine I thought these were probably overhyped, but then I found out a friend of mine has had an Osaki Titan for 8 years and still uses it regularly so I kept an eye out for one. They really do give a good massage, and clearancechair.com ships directly from the Osaki warehouse in TX.

Just wanted to say I bought another massage chair from this site and it was delivered just fine. Costco and this site use the same delivery company (at least to CA) called AIT Logistics . Your experience may vary but I didn't have any issues with delivery.

Basically how many dimensions the rollers can move in, in most cases 3D is better than 2D

Anyone familiar with how much repair parts typically end up costing and what the part availability looks like after the parts warranty runs out?

Correct, and the next dimension is intensity i.e. time/speed/strength of the rollers. I hear they're making a 5D one...

The company honors their warranty. Have bought 3 from them and they're super good about any repairs within the period.

Any 3d massage chair from them is going to be great. About the same price every few months with discount code. Warranty is good. They all have minor differing features like voice control or calf massage but all-in-all the same overall chair packaged in a different cloth.

Does their site support HSA? Some sites write LMN at checkout...

Here's why Claude told me to pass on this one:

Tempting price but heads up for anyone considering this for actual therapeutic use (back pain, hip tightness, desk work issues) — this is a 3D mechanism, not 4D. The difference matters more than I expected after researching this stuff for weeks. 4D rollers vary speed and rhythm and can pause on trigger points, which is what mimics an actual massage therapist working on a knot. 3D just adds depth but at a fixed pace. Also only 12 auto programs with no dedicated deep tissue or targeted area modes. The brushless motor is a nice touch for longevity and noise, but if you're buying this for pain relief vs just relaxation, it's worth spending up for a 4D SL-track chair. The Titan Ronin 4D and Osaki Encore 4D are both in the $2,500-2,800 range and are a different league for therapeutic use. If you just want something to chill in after work though, this is probably solid at $1,499.

What's a realistic lifetime for a chair like this? SHould it last 5 years (understand stuff breaks, just wondering what MTBF would be - lots of moving parts)?
