Love guitars but you gotta understand to adjust the truss rod you have to remove the neck to make adjustments. If that's something you'll just leave to your tech, then so be it. But for an everyday owner I would not want to deal with it

Yup four screws, and loosen strings vs simple twist with non vintage truss rod configurations. Unnecessary pain in the behind for "accuracy"

The bass vi is $875 at musicians friend now too. Bought a bass vi this week. Really nice guitar. Nicest Mim I've played. Bass vi is awesome if you don't know about it. Unlock your inner Robert Smith.

All of the 70's models on sale have the exposed bullet truss rod, which is easily adjusted behind the nut.
