I have this exact model and highly recommend it. But just a reminder, like any wood/bamboo product, it does need to be conditioned overtime. Something like this every 6ish months will keep it from cracking or degrading overtime: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C4LJ45K

I've been using this exact model for 3 years. It'll stay as clean as your walls and floor mats. All this mess about it discoloring makes me wonder about the hygiene habits being used. You put your feet on it, not your feces! The device works great and does exactly what it's designed to do.

I have one and I like it. I have the plastic version in the other bath... going to replace that one with another bamboo unit. They look much nicer than the plastic. Performance is going to be the same... it raises your feet.
