Not a fan of licking envelopes type, but normally use a lightly wet paper towel anyways. The security tint on these envelopes is great! in for a few boxes. Thanks OP.

Security tint only helps when crooked post office employees don't steal your outgoing checks, unfortunately. I mailed checks for city and federal taxes last April, only to get a call from my bank regarding possible fraud the following week. What a nightmare that was, with a bunch of fake checks presented to my bank, even though I went to the post office because I didn't want to trust my creepy letter carrier. And of course my tax payments were late, resulting in penalties. I'm telling my accountant that we need to pay online or something this year.

Wow, that is a bummer that you went the extra effort to visit the post office and still had mail fraud problems! ☹️ The workers will hopefully get caught and the penalty for that is pretty severe with jail time. I still mail checks and worry about that happening, too. What I learned was Uniball 207 pens have a special ink that prevents fraud. People can't remove your ink from checks and add new names or amounts. It's like $12-14 on Amazon for 12. There's a great short video on it on Youtube called "why banks always give you the cheapest pens."

In for a few. These are the workhorse of envelopes. if you hate handwriting or want them to look professional for bills/taxes, https://toenvelope.com/ is a free way to format and print addresses directly onto these #10s. Works perfectly with my basic inkjet.
