5% uplift while 20% less power efficient than 9800x3d no wonder they are giving this at discount less than a mo after release … but it's the fastest CPU if you want to flex

Yeah just like a 5090. People will have their bots ready to purchase. Either way if you buy a combo it comes out alot cheaper than this

Gone. They were attainable for about a minute, but if you weren't hitting refresh when it went live, didn't have a shot...

My first attempt at a doorbuster. I had 2 items loaded and ready to refresh on separate windows.

10 seconds in, the GPU was OOS (couldn't even add it to the cart).

I had the processor in the cart, but by the time I clicked "pay" the message came up as OOS. 53 seconds.

Perhaps. But, there's a theory that you can drive this chip at 65W TDP and not lose much performance. The 9800x3d may be the same (I am not sure), so if you get both for price parity, let alone lower price, why not grab it?
