Fun fact: The Whopper was $0.37 in 1957, today that would be $2.68 today. To get that price, a Whopper in your area would have to be $5.36. The more you know or the wage would have to be high enough that the multiplier would make it affordable.Edit: I did some perusing and found that a Whopper in Los Angeles is $7.99 and remember, the wage is $16.90/hr. If one used this deal, they would get each one for half that price. So this is an area where it would make sense to use this deal and have it be affordable, $3.995 each.
$3.99 is what it is on Wednesday and it's still not worth it.

Per the inflation calculator, $0.37 is equal to $4.28 in 2026 dollars.

Inflation would make it unaffordable for everyone. You want to go by proportion of wage. What is the wage where you are at?

Edit: Actually, it would still be worth it in California, one could buy up to $6.25.
For sure, the cost of living is variable but even the government doesn't factor it in. Ever hear of a geographic COLA for SSI?
