Last week, uber eats had bogo whopper $6 and they mistakenly gave me a third whopper somehow.

Edit: Actually, it would still be worth it in California, one could buy up to $6.25.

For sure, the cost of living is variable but even the government doesn't factor it in. Ever hear of a geographic COLA for SSI?
