I used an e-gift card i bought from Target to renew mine. You have to go your account and, "redeem code" BEFORE you start shopping, then when you get to checkout it'll show up on the checkout page (you can't add it at checkout).

I originally had mine set to expire 3/1 (not on auto-renew). No discount being offered. I turned on auto-renew, then I went to turn it back off. The app offered me a 25% discount ($119) to re-up for another year. So not as good as the offer in the post, but for those not seeing a discount, this might work to at least get you something.

I gave it a shot by upgrading for the $16 difference (sub expires April). They didn't offer me the additional year for $99. It was $159 default.

Waste of $16.

My Premium Subscription still has 7 months left. When I clicked on the cancel button they offered me a another year for $119.99. It's not $100, but at least it's something and I don't have to think about it again until the middle of 2027.

This was always my strategy and it didn't work out in 2025 because they didn't offer large discounts to already subscribed users this year. Maybe if they get enough people dropping their subscription this year in 2026, maybe there will be discounts again, but I wouldn't count on it.
