I used an e-gift card i bought from Target to renew mine. You have to go your account and, "redeem code" BEFORE you start shopping, then when you get to checkout it'll show up on the checkout page (you can't add it at checkout).

Why does PlayStation make this shit so difficult? I would renew for $100. I'm just going to cancel at $160.

I stopped giving Sony money a few years ago. All three console makers are so anti consumer now

Community Reviews

This is a targeted PlayStation Plus Premium renewal and upgrade offer that can drop the yearly price to about $99 or $100, with some accounts seeing pro rated upgrade paths instead. It works best after a subscription expires, and the offer also appears in the PS app or on the service page for eligible accounts. Gift cards from Costco, Newegg, Target, or Eneba can lower the effective cost further. The main catch is that eligibility is inconsistent, and some accounts still show full price or only a smaller discount. A solid value if the offer appears on your account and timing lines up.

My subscription ends in a day, but right this moment it only gives me the ability to upgrade from Extra to Premium. Right underneath the offer there is a mention of "Stacking" to extend your subscription. I'm not sure how that's supposed to work because after my 1 day subscription, it says "$159.99". Guess I'll wait a day for the 35% off offer to transfer to a full sub.

If you guys want to save a few more dollars and have Costco. You can get 100 dollars worth of playstation e-gift card for 89.99
Same price at Sam's Club. However the $85 deal posted elsewhere at Eneba is a better deal.

Same here, I bought 10 years worth when it was about to go up about 3 years ago. Mine will renew in 2033
Yep I paid 15 years at approx 20sh dollars at cd keys, they actually refused me the order had to send license to make sure wasn't scamming

Then like after I bought it. And ps plus came out. I did pay the 100 dollar upgrade fee and it upgraded my entire duration. Only win I've ever had lol. 450/15 years il take it
I read there was a glitch at some point allowed people to upgrade free, didn't get that tho. Not complaining.

Mine expires in a day, but there is no option to change to the promo rate. Cancelling doesn't give you an option either so guess I'll try when it's well and truly expired.
Mine expired today and it showed up for me this morning. Hoping you have the same luck when yours expires tomorrow. Make sure you have auto-renew turned off.

This i agree. mine is up on April and it doesn't give me anything but upgrade my remaining essential to premium for $16.

They should just add the membership to cart instead of this BS.

There's a fee on eneba , makes the card over 90$ using your code. I added a different code on a comment in your post it's 87$ and change after fee.
My bad. I didn't fully check out to see the fee.
