Thank you, OP. Just got these! Was able to price match with best buy at 209.99. The rewards also showed up immediately. Had also bought a pair from best buy last night, which I be returning. Good thing I never opened them.

I can confirm this does work in Charlottesville, Virginia. Got my Staples points almost immediately. You can also use Best Buy's deal as a price match.

I was able to replicate this deal and now have $50 in points seating in my account. I used to be a regular at Staples ages ago, but no more. Any ideas how 1. I can use these $50 wisely on something we regularly use and 2. How to keep the points alive till then?
Most of the regular things I need are kinda overpriced at Staples. I already have enough supplies of printer paper, toner, and even a backup brother laser printer collecting dust at my attic for when the current (a 15 year old trooper) dies. Ideas? I don't want to impulse purchase overpriced stuff.

Kudos to OP, I was able to replicate this, located in San Diego... funny that when I was at the check out, an associate warns & swears that the $50 points promo will not work due to price matching, but figured I just give it a try and return if points don't show up.... like some of earlier posts, points showed up almost immediately after purchase. Good find!

Its not $160. This post needs to be corrected. Its $209.99 + tax that you pay and then you get a $50 credit. These kind of bullshit posts shouldnt be allowed.

I don't remember if Staples behaved/behaves like this, but Office Depot used to be "broke" like this. % back in rewards offers would only pay back on OOP spend after rewards. However, $ back in rewards offers would pay back in full even if you paid in full or partial with rewards. Besides wasting the offer, there's no harm in trying with this deal. If the $50 reward doesn't post, simply return them. Your points will come back almost instantly.

Was able to replicate online via chat. They said they do not price match bestbuy but did match amazon. When I tried at the store in central NJ, manager said they dont price match at all on apple products. Will recieve on Tuesday and will wait to see points show up in my account. fingers crossed else will be returning.
