The Pixel Watch 3 stands out as a polished Android smartwatch with strong phone integration, Google Wallet tap to pay, app support, calls and replies, and useful extras like Audible, music, and Gemini AI. The 45 millimeter model also gets praise for accurate heart rate tracking and battery life that can reach close to two days, though some compare it unfavorably with cheaper watches that last much longer. The main cautions are the Wi Fi only configuration, reported short update support, and concerns about battery aging over time. At this price, it looks like a capable pick if you want Pixel features over bargain battery life.

Common Questions (6)

  • No. The listed 45mm Pixel Watch 3 deal is the Wi‑Fi model, and there is no LTE version in this listing. If you need cellular connectivity, you need to look for the LTE model instead.

  • Battery life is reported around one day to close to 2 days depending on use. The 45mm version is described as lasting close to 2 days for fitness use, while another Pixel Watch owner says the battery is fine for a one-day, overnight-charge routine.

  • It supports Google Wallet tap-to-pay, watch apps, calls and message replies, faster GPS tracking, and media features like Audible and music. Cheaper watches may cover basic fitness and GPS, but they generally cannot install apps or offer the same phone integration.

  • The Pixel Watch 4 is described as having only minor upgrades over the Pixel Watch 3, making this price a strong value for an Android smartwatch. One buyer also notes paying $260 for the watch previously, which makes the current price look much better.

  • It appears to get about 3 years of OS updates and security patches. Apps can still update after that, but the shorter patch window is a practical downside if you want a watch that stays current longer.

  • Check that the box is sealed and that the watch dial is still wrapped in plastic. An opened box and unwrapped dial were enough for one buyer to return the unit immediately.

Pixel watch 4 barely has any upgrades over the watch 3 so this is a good deal. Bought this a year ago for 260, and at this price it's the best choice if you're looking for an android smartwatch.

Thanks. I had Google agree to price match it so I could use my credit. It's shipped and sold from Walmart so it shouldnt be a refurb. Too bad Google doesn't adjust the price until after delivery. Fingers crossed there's not f*ckery.

How do these compare to the Amazfit devices like the Bip 5 ($50) or Bip 6 ($80), which seem much more of a disposable price than this?
The biggest difference is the cheap ones can't install apps. For example, for golf, I use GPS watch, which displays the distance to the green. Cheap ones can't do this despite having the GPS.

The benefit of cheap ones is since it's not running apps, the battery will last several days, even a week.

You will have to decide which one is better for your needs.

Is the Walmart LTE version for $171 refurbished? The Walmart page doesn't specify But I would think it's refurbished as Amazon is selling the Pixel 3 LTE for $399 and they list it as new although they have a lot of refurbished LTE ones at the same price range of the Walmart $171 deal.
I believe it's new, got it delivered but haven't had a chance to open up yet.

Good deal, but they sent opened box and dial was not even in plastic wrap. I straightaway returned and was able to grab LTE one from Best buy.
