Community Reviews
The onn Large Party Speaker Gen 2 stands out as a strong value party speaker with punchy sound, bass boost, and LED lights that can be turned off. It compares well with smaller speakers and holds its own at lower volumes, with enough output to fill a room or even be linked with a second unit for more sound. The main tradeoff is that JBL models still sound better, especially at louder volumes where this one can get muddy. Open box units also carry some seller risk, including missing accessories. A solid budget pick if you want big sound without JBL pricing.
The speaker can deliver strong sound for everyday use, including long-term operation five days per week.
The unit can sound noticeably better than a smaller Sony speaker while staying satisfying for the money.
The speaker can support pairing two units together for more overall sound output.
The LED lighting can be turned off, which helps keep the setup usable in quieter environments.
The open-box unit may arrive with missing accessories, including a missing charging cord.
The open-box condition may include visible dents on the handle sleeve, which raises quality concerns.
The sound quality may fall behind a same-size JBL at louder volumes, with potential muddiness.
The deal may carry seller risk because the listing comes from a third-party seller with not-great reviews.

*seriously
Both speakers have minor scuff marks and both speakers have dents on the handlebar; so picture is just like advertised 😂.
Both speakers started right up and sync with no issues. I plugged in my microphone amplifier in on the Left speaker (acts as the main once sync with two speakers) and both my wireless RF mics play in both speakers. It'll take a week or two to decide if it's faulty and overall sound quality.
Kind of bulky and not as good as a Soundcore Boom 2 but is probably the loudest speaker you can get for $40.
Spend the extra on a Tribit Lava or Boom 2 if you are looking for a good sounding portable.
