- Ports CAN go bad. You now have a minimum of 3 spare ports.
Both are solid budget options for a MANAGED switch, even if the management is somewhat limited. The basics are appear to to be there; being able to configure options for prioritization of ports and/or traffic, VLAN segmentation, monitoring performance/errors, etc. are nice bonuses at this price point, if you place any value on management capabilities.https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-8-...109&sr=1-3
