As for USB, mouse, keyboard, external 3.5" drive for backups, MFA security key, and a couple front ports to copy files from one flash drive directly to another... I'd say it barely has enough USB A ports, but that's what the USB-C to a hub is for.
People still use lots of USB-A for printers, headsets, controllers, storage, phone charging/data transfer, etc. I have a weird headlamp that uses USB-C for its input, but if I connect it to any of my USB-C chargers/power adapters, it doesn't charge. I have to use a USB-A to USB-C cable to charge it.
