If anyone is super sensitive to fps drops and less than 60fps, then playing the PS4 version on the PS5 is the way to go. For me, perfectly smooth framerate overcame the visual fidelity on the PS5 version - which to be honest I didn't even really notice after a few hours of playing. But even in performance mode, the frame rate dips and hiccups on the PS5 version I noticed every single time.
Sekiro has fantastic movement and for my play style (risk averse), stealth was a nice change).I like Elden Ring less, but there is so much of it and there is so much lore and characters that it's worth playing if you get into it.
Even having been through two other games, I found the beginning very grindy and didn't feel like I was doing much for the first several hours. I don't think I would have stuck with it had I not gotten through the other games and enjoyed those.
