Don't most modern "leather" car seats come with a plasticized finish that makes "conditioning" them pretty much pointless?
I genuinely don't understand the appeal of leather seats no matter how good they are. The "real" uncoated stuff is a PITA to maintain and looks like crap pretty quickly. The coated stuff might as well be fake since it looks and feels like vinyl. Easy to clean, but it's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It also has a tendency to look like crap before quality cloth seats (and foam) do. One of our cars has leather and the other is cloth and I'll take the latter every time.
So I guess this is for the people with luxury cars that have the time and interest in detailing them often. Great deal if I just described you.
