I've heard that for 32" monitor, you probably want to go for 4k resolution. But this is a pretty good priced monitor from a good company so I doubt it would be too bad.

I own a different 32" 1440p monitor and it looks good. I placed it several inches further away than I did with my 24" monitor, so that probably helped too. But mine is a flatscreen not curved. I think any bigger than this should be 4k, this is the upper limit for 2k.
