I got this kit about a year ago. Completely lives up to the hype, and I reach for it way more than my 18/20v drill/impact driver.

I'd say the deal is OK. I got mine for a previous front page deal that was $179.00 for the same contents. ($115 for the combo kit if you returned the battery). But that was February 2025, and you can't go back in time...

These aren't the subcompacts. These are the older Fuel kits. Still a solid deal with the 5.0 ah tossed in.

Looks like you can add the kit and battery separately to hack the kit down to $164 but that total price is $249 vs. the single SKU bundle price of $229

I went to two different home depots to find that deal last year. 115 when I took the bigger battery back

If you don't need the 5.0ah battery you can buy the combo for $249 that offers the free 5.0ah battery and return the battery for $84, effectively making the price on this tool combo ~$165. Common hack.

Wait for lower. This is usually $179 on sale with the 3 batteries. Once they screwed up and even included 2 of the 5ah batteries for $179. 😄
