Listing title says 3600mWh High Capacity but also "2400 Milliamp Hours" in description. I'm confused.
Edit: 2400mAh x 1.5V = 3600mWh.

FWIW I've been testing them discharging at 1A and getting 1600mAh average, so about 2400mWh.

Re: Costco deal - the AAs are fine but lithium AAAs usually have less capacity than NiMH, the circuitry to get them to work at 1.5V takes up too much room in the AAA form factor.

The Costco batteries are lithium ions marketed by Coast. They are very similar with usb-C charging cables. Please try to not be so condescending.

I got something similar to these during BF. My use case (VR controllers) is keeping a 1.5V output rather than 1.2V (NiMH). I've learned that sometimes my device will not give me a "low battery" warning for these Li-Ion batteries and I'm kinda stuck. But it's nice to know you don't need yet another charger (especially when traveling).
And, yeah, the life of each charge seems pretty short. Just keep your expectations low.

I think the IKEA Ladda rechargeable batteries make a lot more sense for AAs honesty. They are identical to the eneloop pros, once you own a charger for $10-20 the batteries are about $10/4, have about the same capacity, and are much more tolerant to abuse since they are Ni-MH batteries. I own about 40 of them total (AA and AAA) and have been impressed with their capacity for game controllers and high drain devices.
?
apples to oranges.
this is for people need 1.5V (like door locks for example), where 1.2V cannot work well.

eh... didnt read it all.. NM
But heres a quick explanation:
1.5V Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries achieve their voltage by incorporating a buck converter (step-down circuit) and a protection chip, which reduce the internal lithium cell's native (or ) down to a constant, regulated output. This internal circuitry allows the battery to mimic the voltage profile of an alkaline cell, holding a steady 1.5V until it is almost completely discharged.

I love Ladda and also have dozens of them around the house. However be aware that Ni-MH batteries discharge at around 1.2V from the very beginning. So if your application needs 1.5V (eg camera flash) or has voltage-based low battery warning, Ni-MH may have issues. I bought some rechargeable Li AA batteries specifically for my old camera flash for this reason.

Not very relevant consider they aren't new technology rechargeable lithium like the listing says. These hold significant charge and are the "green choice".
Reading is fundamental...Its all there on the page.
Are you a shill poster from China for this product? You are using terms that nobody uses in English like "hold significant charge" and repeating "green choice". These are nonsense terms you are using. You also fail at you're own complaint: reading. As already pointed out the costco ones are lithium which if you had read anything about the Costco batteries you would know that.

1.2V is a different use case than these 1.5V batteries. Our doorbell camera requires 1.5V batteries; it will work for a short time with 1.2V, but even with fresh ones, it says it's time to replace the batteries due to the lower voltage. They don't seem to last as long as rechargable lithium ions.

Which high-drain devices, are working well for you?
It's not necessarily about 'lasting'. It's about the way the devices' manufacturers set the 'low battery' warning and then shut the device down, which can be arbitrary.

A 1.2 volt NimH battery that stays at 1.2 volts for quite a while and then drops to 1.15 volts and the device triggers its 'low battery alarm' does not mean there's anything necessarily wrong with the battery - most devices set the warning based on 1.5 volt (when fresh) Alkaline batteries, not rechargeables. Alkalines are dead at 1.15 volts. Lithium batteries start at a higher voltage - the Energizer Lithium AAs are at 1.7 volts out of the box. It takes them a LONG time at moderate current drain to reach 1.15 volts.

What Lithiums excel at (aside from longer life and FAR fewer leaky batteries that ruin your gear the way alkalines do) is short term high current draw that just kills alkaline and NiMH batteries. Professional sound crews who can't afford to deal with that 'low battery alert after 25 minutes of use' nonsense use Energizer lithium batteries exclusively.

Lastly, people praise the eneloop batteries highly. I have a dozen here and after about a year of intermittent use/charging, they are AT BEST at half capacity, and their self-discharge rate when on the shelf is PATHETIC - 90 days and they're worthless without being charged again without any actual use. Your mileage may vary.

Pot calling the kettle black here? I read the listing and possibly out of satire that doesn't translate well over text, posted terminology THEY used... I thought it was hilarious myself. Thanks for at least asking if I was a shill, but you might need to calm it a bit on the Monster energy drinks. Lets find you a shot glass deal and you start to partition it out for an ounce a day booski

truly impress with these batteries and technology! Unfortunately, its ahead of its time and ppl like to keep on buying batteries from coscto and enjoy their $1.50 hotdogs...can't change ppl's eating habits or mindset over night!

HW or Hi Watt batteries have been around like 40-50 years. The brand was a recognized name in the 80s at least in Asia. The company is/was Hong Kong based. It's been around.
There are a few use cases for 1.5V rechargeables. So I guess I'll get a set and play with it.

Check out this comparison if you are in the market for rechargeable batteries. He has a comparison spreadsheet posted in the comments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQ_tGjXm0Ng
