I have one of these, and consider it one of the best computer-related purchases I've ever made. Putting two and three live windows is great, and using this with games (flight sims/FPS) is (literally) a game changer. I paid significantly more than this for mine. This is a GOOD price.

Wish I got this one like 9 inches wider but loses 2 inches of height, the width is better for gaming but I work on it too and even 3-4 extra lines of text without scrolling helps

Is there any reason to buy this over the 49' OLED G9 144Hz that's at $710 right now?

In my use case, I am considering this as a work monitor as an Autocad Designer. Oled isn't great for this due to potential burn in with static windows/toolbars/etc. Text also doesn't always look great on oled This is a better buy for me personally.
