OK was wondering why this isnt getting more traction and I see now that its the older version not the DJI Neo 2 which is $350 on AMZ for Fly More:https://www.amazon.com/DJI-Active...le_ce?th=1
I was thinking the same thing, however the Neo 2 requires an $80 transceiver (if purchased separately) to use a remote/fpv. The comparable Neo 2 Fly More w/ transceiver is $429. I just ordered this original Neo Fly More. This will be my first drone, and I feel like having the RC-3 is well worth it for my use case.

FYI neo 2 comes with a transceiver if you buy a fly more combo. And neo 2 is significantly improved. However, screwing and unscrewing the transceiver is quite annoying.
The U.S. has not backed out of the restrictions on DJI drones rather, as of late December 2025, the FCC has officially blocked new, unreleased DJI drone models from entering the U.S. market. Existing, already-approved DJI drones can still be legally sold, imported, and flown.

13 minutes. To be safe, fly it less than 10 minutes when fully charged because the batteries do degrade. Stay away from flying directly over water. I don't think they are water proof and finding them under water will be tough.

Few points :
yes, it's not waterproof or resistant. Most drones aren't
The advice of not flying over water is because the bottom sensors could get confused by light reflection. That being said, DJI promo videos for their various drones show flight over water.
Battery percentage should show on whatever screen you use. It'll beep at you (adjustable) when you have 20% and then 10% remaining.
Bought this AND the FPV bundle a few months ago. I bought this in addition to the FPV because it's a good deal for extra batteries, for the controller, and to have a spare Neo drone around. I feel more confident flying more aggressively (safely) knowing I have a spare.

What transceiver it is comjng with? are we talking about $350 model?
dji neo with 3 battery pack version without controller would not have this video transfer capability for live shots but neo 2 has it?
I am personally not interested too much to have controller. I am in between two models as my first drone. My understanding neo 2 has longer range for signal on phone for controlling compared to neo 1. I saw video range test showing 300m 1000 ft which is more than enough for me so I thought neo 2 without controller works for me.
Would neo 1 without controller would work for a first drone too? Or transceiver/controller purchase is required for neo 1?
