Verizon isn't the carrier it once was. It used to be the best US carrier, but over the time I've had Verizon:
- Raised prices without adding any value
- Verizon has reduced customer service hours (somewhat recently they enlarged them again but they're still not what I recall),
- taken away self-service features (e.g., update your active SIM via the website yourself, e.g., if you lose/leave a phone)
- tied the hands of customer service representatives (run you around to corporate stores with poor hours to reactivate, etc)
- in my specific case my service is much worse than it used to be (others say the same)
- in my specific case, they deny me the corporate discount I used to get
- I had to get another phone from another carrier in party because my Verizon service less reliable than it used to be
NO WONDER SO MANY VERIZON CUSTOMERS ARE LEAVING FOR OTHER CARRIERS
I USED TO BUT NO LONGER DO NOT RECOMMEND VERIZON NOR TRACFONE.
I can't recommend anything, I would just say take a look at something else.
