hard to say because (maybe i'm blind) they literally never even tell you what the scrubber farking is on this store page or the scrubber store page. Is it steep wool? Is it a chainmail sponge? Or is it something else entirely.

And the reviews smell of AI.

Regular price is also ~$20 for the black one apparently.

VHAA4JHY still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app remember to tap on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code (before tapping the Continue button).

Normal price is $15. $60 is absurd.

You are invariably going to get a bristle in your meat that will then get permanently embedded in your digestive system, rust and be a huge issue.

I think we all understand the sales pitch. Rather than buying something less effective, perhaps throwing out the grill scrubber on a regular basis makes more sense than buying some of these grill massaging tools.

The problem with ingesting a bristle arises if you have the misfortune of the bristle perforating your intestine. That is a life-threatening medical emergency. It is for this reason that people are moving away from using wire bristle scrubbers on grills where food is being cooked. The risk may be small, but it's not zero.

Don't post that AI slop here please. We would like to keep SD free from LLM generated replies and clanker text generated content as it lowers the quality of this forum or any discussion and undermines the trust that has been built on anonymous user experiences versus bot made drivel and paid reviews on amazon.

Most of us are here to feed our compulsive shopping habits and obsession with saving a few pennies for a dopamine hit, not to talk with a robot.
Posting AI slop lowers the trust of this forum as we really depend on user generated real life experiences on products as Amazon is no longer a trust worthy site with its review pages full of AI slop, fake reviews and paid review groups.

TLDR: don't post AI slop, many of us work with slop all day and can recognize it easily so dont think you can get away with it. It undermines the trust here and without it this place will only be as good as any amazon review page without FAKESPOT; in other words: useless. We aint vibing with that

These comments are something else. I'll speak from my experience with this product. The sponge is pretty robust and has some thin metal on its surface to help with scraping. It has lasted me multiple uses of pretty heavy scrubbing of grill grates. The fact that the sponge can soak up some water before it is used for scrubbing is what makes this product very effective, because when used on the hot grill grates, the water turns to steam and that really helps to loosen a lot of gunk from the grill grates. I use it to clean the grill grates on my Weber kettle, which I mostly use for low and slow smoking and sometimes some hot and fast searing. It has done a great job and I would recommend this over a wire brush.
