Lenovo Yoga Tab is a great alternative to this, slightly more expensive, with a larger screen and similar internal specs.

Would be able to do a ton of emulation with this. All the way up to Switch even. This is a great deal if you know what you're doing

I JUST decided I wanted to get a gaming handheld so this popped up on my radar. I'm not interested in it because I want the form factor of controllers attached to both sides but my mind is now blown at the realization that this screen is the same size as the Legion Go that I was considering. I literally saw this and scoffed at size of the screen being for portable gaming. I think I would have fallen out of my chair if I had actually gotten the L Go and opened it before seeing this.

If you are a teacher, healthcare, first responder or over 55 you can get an additional 5%. If you sign up for emails you get another $10 off. This brings the price down to $306.77.I ordered last week and paid 334. Debating if it's worth it to return and buy it again to save 30 dollars.
What do you use for those savings?

Running Android 14 when we're on the cusp of going to 17, seems like Lenovo is still total trash with OS updates.
Your information about updates on Motorola / Lenovo tablets and phones are widely out of date. This was the reputation they had years ago but they have now increased even their budget stuff gets three OS updates. It's crazy how people especially in the West just refuse to entertain any product that is an Apple or Samsung. And immediately trash everything that's not Apple or Samsung right out of the gate.

Show me the 8.8-in tablets I can get with flagship chips from Samsung. Show me a tablet like this that I can get for iOS that actually has a high refresh rate screen and is capable of emulation?

Like this is a really good inexpensive product and Samsung and Apple doesn't make anything comparable to it for fans of gaming or customizable products.

The two codes posted here. Plus First Responders, Students, Teachers, Parents, Healthcare Workers, and Seniors discount verified through id.me. Then I signed up for Email Coupons & Offers which gave me a $10 off $100 coupon.
But Lenovo keeps raising the price. It was $379.99, then they raised it to 389.99 yesterday, now this morning it was raised again to 399.99. So what I posted before is now $10 more.

OP Here.

This is a PSA regarding Lenovo in general.
If this has been posted before, then my apologies.

If you're on the fence about doing this deal or buying anything else from Lenovo from their personal (consumer) website, it's very beneficial to do the following.

First, set up an online account ( you don't need to enter in any payment methods).

Second, when you see a deal like this but you're on the fence, put the product in the shopping cart. APPLY ALL AVAILABLE PROMO CODES, and take note of the cart id number, usually in the lower right corner of your screen.

Third, chat with Lenovo or call them and give them the cart id number. Then, ask the sales rep to create a QUOTE. This will lock in the price for 2 weeks. When you're ready to buy, just go to view your account and click on saved quotes. You can then pull up the quote and click on convert to an order.

I have done this twice. It takes all of the pressure off of making a hasty decision.

When you're shopping on the personal website, you'll see an option to save the cart. That is different than getting a quote which locks in the price.

Finally, if you're on the Lenovo Pro Business site, you can create the quote yourself by simply clicking on " request a quote" on the lower right corner of the screen after you have your shopping cart ready.

Hope this helps all of you SDers.

Why don't you try calling customer service first and see if they'll give you a post sales price adjustment?
Probably cheaper for them to do that than pay shipping on a return and pay shipping on a replacement order.
They'll probably say no but it's worth a try.
I tried. They are giving me the runaround. Had to provide a screenshot of cart, they said the screenshot I sent wasn't good enough since it didn't show the date. During all this Lenovo raised the price to 399.99 so I can't take another screenshot with the original price. It is now only $20 dollars savings from when I ordered last week. I'm giving up lol, not worth all the hassle to save $20.

Sucks to hear that they're giving you bs for a simple price adjustment.
I wouldn't take a chance on returning and rebuying now over $20. I'm sure your time and effort is worth more than that.

This is the 2024 version so it makes sense if its on that OS out of the box. The 2025 Gen 4 was China only.
The Gen 5 was recently announced. I'm hoping it's available in the US market.

Thanks for the heads up! Word is that they're bringing back the microSD card (I have a Y700 2023 for that reason), if true, I'm looking forward to the Gen 5!
