Any suggestions which soap to buy that is better for dry skin? I have the same issue but I don't wanna pay $3 for a small bottle as we go thru a lot

Sams club has the white color version of this, I believe its with aloe vera. So much better imo

I doubt it's the same price.

I've been using this soap for years. I definitely don't have the problem you mentioned.

It's less about the soap than it is about moisturizing after you wash your hands....and perhaps wearing gloves when you do things with your hand so you can wash them less. Moisturizing hands then putting them in cotton gloves for as long as you can (overnight works) helps a lot. Also increasing the humidity in your living space to above ~50% is kind of essential. From time you time you can use a lactic acid moisturizer / repair cream like AmLactin and that will do good things too. Above things effectively made winter dryness for my dry prone hands a non-issue.

Can these be used to make your own foaming soap? What ratio?

One-third soap was what I saw suggested somewhere and it's what I've been using, or a bit more, maybe 40%. I bumped it up to get stronger soap but the electric dispenser struggles a little harder on that. I'm probably closer to around 35% concentration now.

As long as it doesn't have triclosan (antibacterial agent) it should be fine.
