Just like rump supporters blame high egg price for Biden, I blame this on minions Republicans and rump. This is so much worse than egg price. Everything is going up.

The Chinese manufacturers aren't your friends - they are in it to make money.

They have already figured out that they can make a lot more money selling to the AI companies than they can in retail.

I'm sure they'll sell retail and use retail as their product testing ground while they are spinning up; however, once they are producing a stable supply and stable product, if the AI companies come calling they'll dump retail in a microsecond just like Micron, Samsung, and SK Hynix did.

Competition is good, it won't hurt us for them to add to global capacity.

This has nothing to do with politics and it is all due to the massive AI builds that are happening and consuming all of the DRAM on the market.

So is the egg price. It has nothing to do with politics. It is all due to the chicken flu.

Looking at the price history, this was $91 before prices started spiking in October.

Worth only $30, but selling for $300. Memory manufacturers are engaging in malicious price gouging, profiting from market investment and stock market gains within a closed AI cycle sold by OpenAI, Nvidia, and Oracle. Now is definitely not a good time to buy home computer memory; wait until the unrealizable AI bubble bursts.

That was related to politics somewhat because the government mandated the culling of flocks to try and "control" the flu.
I see you want to eat chicken and egg with flu. This RAM issue cause by trump politics in a big way. Trump directed the Department of Commerce to provide loans, loan guarantees, and grants for large-scale data center projects. The plan encourages federal agencies to identify and deploy tax-based incentives to lower the cost of building for data centers. The administration has authorized the use of federal lands, including former "Brownfield" or "Superfund" (contaminated) sites, for data center construction to provide cheap, available real estate.
