$600 is insane for this. $300 is more acceptable and likely the more common price in place like Costco

This is a bad deal, I think. The newer versions had better suction, extra tools, and battery life and canister size. If you're going to invest in one of these, buy from Costco on sale.

Costco had the v9 bundled with the submarine head attachment in store last month or so for $320. The submarine head also sucks so not a deal either.

Good vacuum, but their batteries die so quickly. Had to replace mine after just 10 months.

God help you if you have more than grains of sand and dirt to pick up with these. Even the animal versions are horrible for pet hair. The design is such that the pathway from the tub into the reservoir is tight, so it clogs super easy. I bought the animal version for $300 and really regret it.

Dyson products have always been junk. It's expensive and they break for one reason or another. V9 is probably especially prone to defect, I replaced it with a cheap chinese knock off and it's better and more durable. This is our 3rd Dyson product that died within a year, I told my wife to never buy another Dyson.

I've had probably 6-7 Dyson vacuums and 4 of those stick vacuums and other than having to replace a battery I have not had one break. Still using a DC45 in my garage for (mainly) my car. I understand they can break but 3/3 what are you doing with them? lol

Just normal vacuuming, and not even that often because our cleaners use their own vacuum. The only Dyson that doesn't break is the hair dryer that my wife uses lol.
