up to 212 degrees? Steamed poultry/chicken? Going to assume the chicken is without the skin. Gadget is only best for vegetables. Great price, but pass. Will be a dust collector in due time.

Bought this last year when our vintage B&D steamer finally gave up the ghost. We only use this for items like buns and vegetables, which do well with steaming . We originally thought the increased capacity over our older steamer would be beneficial. But so far we have found that the second basket doesn't steam as thoroughly as the first level. So generally we will use it as a one-level steamer or will take out the items on the bottom level and then transfer the items in the upper level to the now empty lower level (a bit of a pain). The water capacity of the newer steamer is also less than our old B&D, so we have to be careful to check the water level of this newer steamer. But for this few occasions that we need a steamer, this was the cheapest one we could find that matched our old steamer.
