I like the flip top personally because it gives some clearance on the top the cup when driving

You might be able to swap the lid, or if you keep an eye out you'll see them in the 20-25 range on here pretty often. Looks like $10 for a replacement lid from stanley's website which is absurd

This lid doesnt leak, the straw one even with the straw removed still leaks when tipped over.
