wow great price

bought this exact unit refurb for $450 last year

has huge capacity and 20ms switchover is enough to keep my computers alive without reboot/reset

it's literally at the maximum weight I can lift

only complaint is that you cannot update the firmware without it turning off the ac ports on reboot, so I never do that

and in the middle of a sub-freezing night it turned itself off for some reason but hasn't done that again

still trying to figure out which solar panel is the best deal for this year's buy, you want >12v input so you can get max watts, like 24 or 36 or 48v but not sure how to do that

it only has one solar input, the higher end models have two but 500 watts so that's good

I have one and a delta 3 it's a neat Frankenstein. It's got delta 2 firmware so none of the time of use or other new features and the fan is audible unlike the regular delta 3, but it's way less loud than the delta 2 was and the switchover time is fast enough to use for most stuff as a UPS.

It made no sense at the original price which was like 699 but it's a pretty good deal now.

this model uses some 3000 cycles to 70%, Ecoflow has turned into shit with Delta 3 family, with like 12 SKUs yet the spec is incomplete. This one is really a rebranded Delta 2, doesn't have 10ms switch over like all other Delta 3

Goldilocks size for me. Since my use is mostly 12v fridge duties I don't need the latest and greatest. Just capacity.

You'll just run your identical panels in series. If it's 12V at the panel, two in series will give you 24V, three will give you 36V, etc. There is more to consider, of course (max voltage and amperage ratings on your controller and the panel rating).

For someone not too knowledgeable on the subject, aside from reading, I'd recommend just sticking to the Ecoflow panels. No issues with compatibility, and staying under the maximum ratings you can run smaller panels in series to get your desired input to one port.

Have been using this to run living room setup at night to cut down on power draw in the evening and night hours. Overall, been solid.

I went with this one over others as the AC outlets are on the back and allows for cleaner setup.

If you opt to buy the additional battery down the road, the connectors are setup in a way that you cant place the battery on top the direction it was intended to. Not a major issue, but something to call out if matters to you

Is this capable of charging a full-sized 2-door fridge, typical for home use? Don't know how to look at the numbers to evaluate.

You'd have to know roughly what power draw is of your fridge to know how long it would last.

If you intend to use as a backup if power goes out, could last a day or so if you moderate when it's running the fridge.

If you intend to hook up to a fridge that is warm, it won't last as long due to compressor running constantly to cool the fridge down.

I use 4kWh of battery power to run a chest freezer, PC, and Internet equipment every night from sunset to sunrise. Generally wake up with 30% battery left.
